So I'm watching this jacknut (Bear Grylls) and all the time I'm thinking, while you are climbing mountains and crossing rivers, so was your camera man, but the difference was he was carrying a bunch of equipment at the same time.
In the episode I saw, he had to quickly put together a shelter because a thunderstorm was comming. He constructed a TeePee just big enough for one and then ate a snake for dinner, stuffed his shirt with cattails for insulation and curled up in his little teepee, but came right back out because the lightning was too close and he wanted to demostrate the proper postior to be in while in a lightning storm outside. He called it a squating fetal position because he said if you can count to 30 between the light and the sound then the lightning is close enough to kill you, well.. while he is explaining all of this the camera man's microphone boom dropped into view twice.
So here is this guy, too afraid to be in his little teepee because of lightning, but he is sqauting in the fetal position with a microphone boom over his head! That means the camera guy was standing there holding a bunch of electronic equipment, and the sound guy was holding up a metal boom over fetal position guy.

Maybe the show should have been about the crew and not the phony accent guy...

The could call it;
Camera operator and sound man vs. Wild while dragging worthless dude up hills and over mountains...

So, I am at home, which I find very refreshing and kind of fun. I get to sleep in my own bed and play my electric piano which is too big to travel with but after this week, I think the neighbors are taking up a collection to ship it anywhere I want!

I am really enjoying my couch though, I can sit or lay on it and watch TV, and do my favorite thing, channel surf, and I know what you are thinking, who doesn’t like to Channel surf!

Well normally, I wouldn’t think this was even worth bringing up, but I was watching {tru tv,stupid sports fans} which I found the videos were kind of funny, even the comments from that the out of work or washed up comedians and actors or whatever had to say were funny too. Then I noticed that they were trashing every city or state in the country except California… I heard “of course they paint their teeth blue and orange during the super bowl, that is what they do in Denver”. They said “what else is there to do in Georgia after you have had sex with your sister?” or, "if it didn’t involve cold weather, fat women and beer, it wouldn’t be Wisconsin".
At this point I started to pay attention to who was doing the talking, and this is the list of people trashing the rest of the nation;

Adrian Curry, remember this girl, she was the psycho chic that said she was going to make Chris Knight (Peter, the middle dude from the Brady bunch) fall in love with her and marry her on a reality show, I’ll bet your parents are proud.

Leif Garret, this was the teenage heart throb that permanently paralyzed a friend of his in a drug and alcohol binge car wreck, I want to hear your opinion on stupid people.

Danny Banaduce, now I like Danny, I always have, he can talk politics but he can’t talk about people doing stupid things, I saw the behind the scenes on you man, there are some things you should just keep to yourself…

Tonya Harding, WTF! Does anybody remember when she hired a guy to smash the leg of a Nancy Kerrigan during the Olympics? If you can't beat 'em... beat 'em?

Todd bridges, arrested several times for drugs and including shooting a crack dealer eight times in a crack house! You don’t know who he is; he was Willis in “whatyoutalkinboutwillis”. Dude, dade county orange is good color on you!

Amy Fisher, remember Joey Buttafucco, he had the girlfriend that tried to murder his wife with a handgun, she is the girlfriend… Ahh.. can't you just smell love in the air, or is that gun powder?

California... you have so many things to be proud of, happy cows and... well happy cows!
