When you mention salt, we used to put salt on the slugs at home because they were discusting to step on. They melted away.
I still hear their screams but they were SLUGS!!!

I don't have anything against snakes unless they bite, but I do have an issue with worms, slimey and well slimey!

Honestly, my Dad ate sardines on crackers and pickled pigs feet. I picked up the habit. I was a brave little girl!!

Sorry Oscar..my error the correct spelling is tartare...as in Steak tartare a meat dish made from ground raw beef. Generally used to indicate anything raw and uncooked..So salted snail on a Ritz would be snail tartare...and yes love sardines with pickled eggs, and pigs feet followed by raw oysters and Tabasco..you can keep the little fishes...
